What is a SABBATICAL?
For me, a sabbatical is a meaningful break from the traditional path, an opportunity to step away from the routine of daily work and societal expectations. It's a time to pause, reflect, and pursue personal growth—whether through travel, self-discovery, or diving into passions and new experiences that allowed me to learn, evolve, and find deeper connections with myself and the world around me. This time away isn't just about rest, but about consciously reshaping my journey and embracing new adventures that enrich both my personal and professional life.

The official definition:
A sabbatical is an extended period of leave from work or regular duties, typically lasting several months to a year. It is often taken to pursue personal interests, travel, further education, or professional development, allowing individuals to rest, recharge, or explore new opportunities. Sabbaticals are commonly granted after a period of employment or commitment, but they can also be self-initiated.
